Members Mogwix
what? you mean like the guitarbug systems? why not a body pack? I use the sennheiser ew172 G2 system, sounds excellent. A better option I think though are the X2 wireless systems... not that much money either. Check 'em out. They've got bodypacks though.

Members B Money
X2 is the way to go. Sounds great, reliable, simple to use, affordable. IMO it's the best option under $1000
Members abzurd
Another X2 fan. Bass player uses it and the sound quality is very good.
Members flanc
I'm fond of the X2 as well. What's so annoying about the guitar bug? I've used one and thought it worked well.

Members MXDAD
Really? A line 6 product is the best out there? We replaced all the kids line 6 amps a wile back
Members moneyfornothing
Line Six actually purchased the X2 technology from another company called Xwire. Read the reviews, and take my word for it. You wont find a better wireless for $500 or less than any of the X2 systems. I would recommend the XDS95 plus, or the rackmount version XDR95). With the XDS95, you dont get battery meter on the reciever, and the range is not that great.
Members Mogwix
Really? A line 6 product is the best out there? Line 6 has the distribution rights for X2 systems, they don't make them. That was actually the first thing I thought too.
Members samkokajko
+1 for the X2 system. They need to make some more channels though. It is becoming amazingly popular. Also they came out with some vocal mics (I want to hear one of those). You get a 5 piece band on those and you have 4 channels. If you use one on an acoustic and an electric like me then you have all the channels used. Then you have a band in the club next door with one, oops. I want more channels line 6. Members Balladeer
I see the X2 handheld mic system uses am OM-3 head. So when are Line6 going to make these systems available outside the US?

Members lifeloverwg
We have two guitarbugs in my wife's band, and her's has been nothing but trouble. Intermittant drops and interference one time and no problem the next, followed by not working at all at times. The other unit, has performed flawlessly.
