A guy found a way to break the tip off of a TRS plug from a snake cable inside an input on our Yamaha MG2414fx. It's just the actual tip - the ring and sleeve are still attached. Anyone have any ideas as to how to get it out without taking apart the entire board? 2. For some reason I can't figure out, when we play music (running from iTunes on a macbook to an input on the mixer) we hear a muffled/distorted version coming through the mains and the monitors even when the channel is turned off.
