Members abelincoln09 Posted May 15, 2020 Members Share Posted May 15, 2020 Howdy! I just got new Seymour Duncan pickups put in my Ephiphone Les Paul. Now, as soon as I turn the volume knob up for either pickup, I get almost full volume/distortion. Basically, as soon as I hit 2 on the knob, the distortion and volume are at 8 then move up slowly as I turn up the volume knobs. And, if my bridge volume is off, I still get a slight signal. When I had the stock Epiphone pickups, I could turn down the volume knob to get a clean tone, now I can't. Is this normal or is there something wrong like incorrect wiring or even that the pickups don't match the pots? Thank you! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
