Members Ryan.
So I just got my Direct Box from EWI (Audiopile) and I'm curious about a few things. So with this box on one side there is one 1/8 Stereo Input, 2 RCA Inputs, two GND/LFT Switches, and two Att switches. Back at my studio I have an 1/8 input that converts to 2 RCA. This means I can now plug that into the audio out of a laptop or an iPod, and then into both RCA inputs on the Direct Box right? And then I'll need two XLR outs to make left and right channels on my mixer? What I don't get is the GND/LFT switches. The instructions in the box aren't idiot friendly... so can anyone let me know what these do?

Try it without first, though.

Members monkeyland
leave the ground lift switches in the grounded position to start out. if you get noise then you may need to switch them to lift.
