Members themonosdrummer
Hi guys, my knowledge of PA's is not up to scratch, so i'd appreciate any advice you can give. I've recently joined a blues/soul band and we are looking at playing pubs and small clubs, i was after some advice mainly around subs and whether our system will be adequate. Our current setup as of this week is: Yamaha EMX5000-20 deskJBL EON1500 - tops We have another system we intend to use for the monitor mix:yamaha EMX66Carlsbro Gamma 10/200P Im looking to add a little bottom end mainly for a bit of kick drum. I'm looking at a pair of 15" active subs. Would these be looking at in any shape or form? http://www.dv247.com/pa-systems-and-live-sound/studiomaster-vpx15-sub-active-pa-sub--74057 They say they give up to 600W each. As mentioned above we are a blues/soul band, not looking to blow the roof off but give a good overall balance, audiences up to around 200ish i would be expecting. Many thanks in advance.
