Members joedobronski
When you run a Stereo channel to Aux does it sum the signal ?For example on my Yamaha MG 124 CX Stereo in on 9/10 to AUX: http://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/CDA/ContentDetail/EnlargedImage.html?CNTID=558888&CTID=227900 I assume it does but don't see it (can't read it) in the block diagram . . Members davidss1
disconect alternate inputs and see if there is a level/content change from 1 aux outputa few mins of jacking in and out with a source playing should show u its logic be aware also that most stereo line level inputs will default left channel input as mono
Members joedobronski
thanks Dave, that worked - it is summed; as in no loss in content or volume.
Members Unalaska
It's a great way to sum a stereo signal, if a keyboard player is using stereo inputs on his/her mixer I'll take a post fade aux in mono (if I'm slimming down the channel count).
