Heard a good mix last night

Last night we saw Asleep at the Wheel in a little old Opera House in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, with a balcony, total seating probably around 400 or so. 7 instruments and 3 vocalists sharing the stage and the sonic spectrum seamlessly. I would imagine the sound guy(s) has been a part of the act for years, but it seems like no small feat to take all that and make it so you could hear every vocalist clearly, from Ray Benson's baritone to Elizabeth's - high tenor or alto. The 3 blackface Fender Twin's were obviously not cranked, as the volume was just perfect for the venue.

Good job.

I saw AATW a few hears back at one of the local indian casinos. Agree 100% about the sound. Everything was crystal clear from the steel guitar and acoustic guitar to the upright bass and piano. The vocal to instrumental mix was perfect too.
