Members dennis a
today was ok. i been hittin the altoids a little hard. I was smoking three packs a day when I quit almost 30 years ago. I used some kind of hard candy everytime I wanted to smoke and the addiction transferred quite well....a month or two later I had to use something to transfer from the candies to. After the first week of not smoking I got a bit active jogging and bike riding. Being able to do that without a having a coughing fit was a major positive mental reinforcement for quitting. I felt better within a week or two. Dennis
Members DBR
Would love to get on my bike but I hate riding in the rain. It f****s the bike up and I don't appreciate the fact that I get wet. :blah:
Members JonChorba
Congrats! I quit cold turkey 2 years ago, after being a 12 year smoker, and it was the best decision I've ever made. Check out this site, www.whyquit.com. It was a big source of motivation in helping through the rough patches. If I can do it, you can too!
