Members workstation M.I
I picked this up about a week ago and, in spite of going through the manuals over and over, I'm still trying to figure outhow to do something as basic as MIDI multi-track recording as opposed to using all of the "style stuff". I've always been able to use arrangers as workstation keyboards for traditional MIDI sequencing and I hope the same will be true for the 600. One question, I've already answered for myself-Yes, I am able to record "rubato" without having any rhythms present, even if I do get the "countdown" at the start. And using that last paragraph, as a jump off point, my next question is this. Can the preset rhythms be used as pure drums without any of the ala-carte stuff that turns preset rhythms into "styles?" And HOW do I call these preset rhythms up on the 600? Help greatly appreciated! I really love the sound of the PA600 and would like to work with it in the same way I used to work with my previous workstation.
