Members yermam
09-28-2016, 01:09 PM I was wondering if a pair of guitar speaker cabinets can be daisy chained in series or in parallel... To clarify; I would like a cabinet that allows me to input 8 ohms and output either series or parallel, so as to allow for a 4 ohm parallel daisy chain in another 8 ohm cab or daisy chain 16 ohm series in an 8 ohm cab. It seems possible... check it out... OUTPUT (parallel-series) INPUT (4ohm mono/8ohm stereo -16 ohm mono - 8ohm stereo) OUTPUT (parallel-series) The above is a proposed wiring plan for a two speaker cabinet... Obviously the input is standard, I just wondered if the outputs were possible. You can see that an identical double cab with only inputs offers a number of possibilities for sound-staging and bi-amping.
