Members jdon
I'm wondering what sorts of stands and tables you guys use to put your keyboards, computers, and rack mounted modules on? My setup is currently a mess
Members SpaceNorman
I use a Quiklok Z726L stand .... I love the stability and the leg room. My rack gear goes into a 6u rack. When stage space allows - I put the rack on an On Stag WS8540 "T" stand. If stage space is too tight - the rack sits on its side on the floor against the right "Z" upright of my stand. When I need a computer - I built an attachment that slips over the "back" end of one (either) of the 2nd tier support arms. It's nothing more than a length of 1" square tubing with a small (6" x 9") plate mounted on the top of it. There's a hole (a hair larger than the diameter of the support arm) drilled in the tube that allows it to slip over the support arm. A simple locking pin is used to secure it to the arm. The laptop sits on the plate - secured with Velcro. I use 2 large strips of Velcro - which makes for a very secure attachment.
