9v adapter sick?

I have a 230 v (UK) to 9 v AC adapter for a JFX-1, it won't work from my voltage converter.

I have a 230 v (UK) JMP-1 that i played through this converter for 2 weeks before I had it switched to our

power ratings . It came from England so i could not test it but it is supposed to be a working unit.

What could be wrong? Thanks.
