Members Potex
I'm getting like a clipping distortion out of my TC Electronic Integrated Pre. My Les Paul has an Anderson H3 in the bridge and a Paf Pro in the neck.. Both seem to be distorting the TC. I'm running the unit in front of MY MkIV and also Before I go into pro tools and it seems to be distorting/breaking up when the strings are strummed pretty hard. Its fine for palm muting but if the strings are given some serious action I get crackling. I heard that running the unit at 18V helps, which i'm doing and that seems to help a bit - But not fix it. Does anyone have any experience with this unit and how to get it to behave itself? Besides the break up I love what it does to my tone! Pls Help! Cheers-Ben

Members alekke
had the same problem. you need to run it at minimum 20V to increase headroom. Probably more cause I did some changes in mine so I kinda feel safe with 20V if I'm not in full volume full treble area.
