Members blakeq
Can anyone recommend a good place to order a new power adapter for a Waldorf Micro Q? I think it uses the same style as the Microwave II and XT use.
Members Pedestrian
Not completely sure, but you can usually sell micro Q's on ebay even without AC adapters because people use them as back ups.
Members Analog Kid
I'm using a Fostex power supply with my XT cause the one that came with it was crap.
Members davehorne
If you know what the unit wants to 'see' ... how many volts, AC or DC and the amps or milliamps, you can go to an electronic store and buy a simple transformer and wire a plug up yourself. When I moved from the US to Europe, I needed a power supply for a Kurzweil unit. The local music store wanted an arm and a leg (around $40 or so). I simply went to an electronic parts store, bought a transformer and wired it up myself. Saved lots of money that way.
Members heroesforghosts
Try www.novamusik.com They most likely have the Waldorf power supplies, since they're a Waldorf dealer(or were). I think they sell them for 30 or 40 dollars.
Members Qwave
Just check the specifications the Waldorf microQ external power supply at the manual and buy it at Radio Shack or other sources for those external wall warts. This will cost you not more then lets say 15-20 $USIf I rember it right, you need 12 V and more then 500 mA. But better check the tech specs at the manual.
