Members Sinner6
I just watched the video : http://trio.harmony-central.com/ramgen/Musikmesse04/Roland-SP606.rm what do you guys think of this thing? It seem like it could be cool, but the fact that it only has a 4-track MIDI sequencer seems a little limiting to me...am I missing the point of this product? It seems to fall right between the mpc-1000 and esx. (but what does it cost?) The software feature seemed pretty bland, I assume the thing sends regular MIDI messages so you can use it as a controller for other software. All in all, I think I wouldn't choose this thing if I was in the market for a hardware sampler today. The MPC 100 has more features, better sequencer, and the ESX has more tracks and knob motion sequencing and both competing units are smaller in size... Any other opinions?
