Members AstrometricAtomotron
Hey, I own a Roland MC505. Great sounding machine but alittle unstable.I know there's the possibility to upgrade the OS via the Smartmedia card and i've found a downloadable version on the internet. What i understood from the guy's short explenation is that i need to find an ols Smartmedia adaptor that is suitable for the 4mb-5v cards wich work with the MC505 I also need to preserve some of the data currently on the MC505's internal memory but that can be solved by getting me some more cards on Ebay. Sounds like an adventure and i know for sertain it's gonna be a long story before i get things working propperly again. I would really appreciate any kind of advice on how to handle this.I'm not a synth wizz. thanks allot.AA
Members Styrerra
Buy 2 sets of long midi cables and go join one of the groups. I believe there are set up instructions in one of the 505 groups at yahoo groups. I don't own one anymore and can't recall clearly off the top of my head. Members Styrerra
Yes. I would run your sequencer at 100bpm or less however as I noticed some synths like this speed for recieving.
