I've heard that the beyer DT100's are pretty much the standard to go for. I've seen these at a decent price too, so not looking for alternative suggestions in this thread. The one's i've seen say they are 400ohms. Is this pointed out specially because they wont work with standard equipment. Would I need a special headphone amplifier for these to work? Cheers.
