Members Napalm
If you're after strings, try the Peter Sied or Protozoa ROMs... I cannot really comment on either of them, but I've heard they are decent enough compared to the Orch 1&2 offerings... IMO, Emu shines in the electro/dance/bass/drums departments... I personnally own: Emu Orbit 3 w/Vintage Pro/XLead v2 ROMs Emu PX7 w/Ensoniq Project/Pure Phatt/Halo ROMs and they kick azz in the synth/bass/drums/perc categories
Members Is.
Check out the Protean Drums ROM. It's got several kits that are sampled very nicely, with some sounds having up to something like 7 or 8 velocity layers. It's got some of the best cymbal samples I've ever heard in a PCM synth, very long and realistic decays. It's very nice, if you want drums. Members O.K. Johnson
I agree with the Protean ROM. Lots of good stuff, especially the orchestral material. Agagin, depends on your needs.
