Members zonk222
I just bought a Kurzweil PC2R (sound module) (and have it hooked up to my ancient Yamaha DX5 synthesizer (it combines 2 DX7's!) I want to buy a foot pedal (to free my hands) to control the Leslie effect in the PC2R. 1. Do I buy the pedal that is made by Kurzweil (Model CP1) or should I purchase something else? If something else - please send your recommendation. 2. Once I get a pedal, where, specifically (and, I mean, specifically) do I plug it in? I look forward to hearing from you. Members 88keyplayer
Zonk222,Maybe I can answer your question. The PC2r doesn't have a continuous control pedal input. I don't think your DX-5 has one either but it's possible. Man you have a treasure with the DX-5.Six octaves and built like a tank. They are almost impossible to find. Most of the new controller keyboards have a CC pedal or a programmable pedal input. I wish these manufacturers would make modules with pedal inputs for people who play say a P-80P-90 or P120 Yamaha or other stage pianos without controllerfunctions. I suppose the reason they don't is cost. Modules arenot big money makers anyway as a rule. Hope you find what you need.88keyplayer
