Members musicman2004
I'm trying to decide which keyboard is the best -1. Yamaha ES 882. Kurzweil 2600XS3. Korg Triton Studio 88 I'm more interested in the sounds than recording. Any thoughts?
Members MP3Chuck
Why not try out a Roland Fantom while you're at it? To be honest, I'm kind of partial to Yamahas. But those are all excellent keyboards. I don't know if I could suggest one over the other based on my own experience... and nothing beats the tried and true method of playing each one. Members Vintagekeys
I guess it would depend on what sounds are most important to you. I like the Yamaha Motif ES as I just purchased the Motif ES7, I have the Triton and the Kurzweil PC2R Module I love all three companies and all have strong points. But over all I would say the Trition may be easiest to use - large touch screen. Now the Motif ES has some killer sounds that either company cannont match, (Piano, EPs, Guitars). The Kurzweil in IMO has the besty pianos - Tripple strike Piano. So it is a tough decision. If I were to go out gigging, I would go with my MOTIF ES. Members imazephyr
The Kurzweil does have awesome pianos! If you want more variety, though, go with the Yamaha.
