Members lossforgain
If you're a fan of the classic shell snares of the 20s, check this out! It's a WorldMax Phosphor Bronze beaded shell in 4x14, outfitted with tube lugs, single flange hoops with clips, German steel wires, and a super-cool WM throwoff. What a great way to get a classic looking and sounding snare without having to pay the big price tag or worry about ancient parts. This drum is in new condition with a new Aquarian TC head on top and original WorldMax snare side head. I have tuned it and tested it but other than that it's in NOS condition. It's extremely sensitive and has that great bronze mix of dryness and warm overtone. A great snare for brush work, backbeats, high-tuned crack, or whatever you decide. I believe these were part of the "Black Hawg" series but are not available now - here's a chance to grab one for a great price and fill that hole in your arsenal. EDIT: Only $215 shipped and PayPal'd in the US48!
