Members tubejay
What happened in 1990?
Members windowlicker
nothing in particular. what i mean is that all the synths i'm looking for were made before 1990 and it seemed like an easy year to use as a cut off. i don't think it's of much concern anyways. basically, what i am not interested in are things like the roland XP or JV line etc

Members windowlicker
well, now that i think about it, you are right though. i suppose 1988 would have been a more appropriate year because i want synths that are older than i am. i like that idea
Members johnnypro
I would look for a JX3P, Juno 60 or Juno 106; or a Korg Poly6 or Poly 61. They are all Programmable, Analog and out there under $400. Also the Korg Dw6000 or 8000, and the Roland Juno1 and Juno2 are all good sounding synths, but are later '80's and analog/digital hybrids. My $.02 JP

Members ajhenders
Hi I would not be afraid of the juno stuff. I have a juno-60,a 106 and a jx-8p and I like them all. I also have a dw-8000 and a poly-800 that have some really nice sounds. I hope you find what you need Aj
