the SVT-CL: 300 wt tube head,3 yrs old,super clean,no flaws.looks new.tubes replaced 1 yr ago. sounds amazing.

 

 

I own an SVT-CL,, clean, babied,treated with absolute love/covered after use,never abused.powered up/down correctly..

a couple of years old,bought from a musician friend who got it directly from Ampeg.

 

I've had it tuned up,retubed,bias checked. Everything works as it should,unbelievable tone.True tube warmth, breaks up nicely,good clean or dirty. 300 tube watts, which equals something like 750 watts solid state,I think.I don't have to sell you guys on this, it's the classic Rock tone,warm, creamy tone,but also heavy (80 lbs)I'm 41 now, playing professionally for a while, and to be honest, lugging an 80 lb head to NYC club gigs is just behind me,my back can't take it, Plus, I want to go solid state.

The SVT head sells new for $1600,

.I've spent a bit getting it retubed,tuned up/bias adjusted..(from Rogue music,nyc)

if I had to sell it for cash, I'd need to get over 1k

since I'll be buying an amp.

 

it's only a little over 2 years old..and in very clean shape.

It's played 3 hrs a week,covered in velvet,unplugged,no drinks,ashtrays on it..ever.

 

I'm also selling an Ampeg SVT-410HLN -4x10" SVT Bass cabinet

deep ported 4x10 bass cabinet,clean,tiny tolex tear on bottom,typical from load ins..barely noticable. I'd sell her for $350 I paid $575 for the cabinet about 2 1/2 years ago.
