In my opinion, for a full, heavy yet organic sound this bass is very hard to beat. Modifications/Repairs: Professional repair around the input jack (see photos). New strap button to avoid 'neck-dive'. Refret in 2005. No neck break. No refinish. Nothing stupid. Just a super solid 30 year old bass. Fender shmender. Only 228 of these were ever made.
