It has a real thick, full sound and real clear tone. It has a real thick and solid body and what really sets if off is the the monorail II bridges. I have never had a bass with this feature before and I could really tell a good diffrence in clairity. There is no damage or dings WHAT-SO-EVER. There are some light pic scratches and others simply because I have no case available.Here's some of the features: +Transparent black +basswood w/ quilted maple top +Monorail II bridges +Silver nickel hardware +Bartolini Active pickups +vari-mid 3band eq +5-piece maple/walnut neck +24 large frets +rosewood fingerboard +pearl dot inlay I love the 5-string, but all good things must come to and end.
