Members kingsransom
Here is a fairly rare Daion electric bass guitar. It is an early 80's Model Power Mark XX-B. Here's a website dedicated to Daion instruments, which offers a lot of background info and pics: http://home.att.net/~daion/ This particular bass is in very good condition with only normal play wear. There are some wear spots on the body, as well as normal finish clear coat blemishes. I think it was made in 1983, since the serial number begins with "83". Structurally the bass is great. No issues with playability or sound. This bass is shown in the Daion price list as the most expensive item offered - $869 retail in 1982. That is the same as $1945 today! It has all of the high end features you would expect of a top of the line bass: neck-thru construction, fine tonewoods, gold hardware, and matching wooden backplates. One note: It has a Kahler bridge, which I am assuming is a later replacement. It looks and works great, and I guess it was a possible original option back then, but who knows? No case, but I will pack very securely to ensure safe delivery. $1100 shipped anywhere in the USA. I'll cover the PayPal fees as well. Trades considered for USA guitars. Here are a few pics:
