Members souperman08 Posted September 9, 2010 Members Share Posted September 9, 2010 I've started playing in a church worship band, and while I initially thought it was going to be sporadic when I played for them, they've now asked me to play for the rest of the year. I currently play a Squier Jazz bass that I got via craigslist for 50 bucks. It's not a bad bass, but I feel like my tone could be improved with an upgrade. So, I'm looking for a new, above entry level bass, but nothing too expensive (I'm more of a guitar player). I would prefer no 5 strings and no active basses, but I'll still consider them (I just have no real clue what I'm looking for). I have some odds and ends I could trade, otherwise $300 straight cash is the most I could spend (I would love to spend less). Let me know what you have!
