OK, guys. Who makes the best sound module for B-3 Organ sounds?

I've got an Alesis Nanopiano, Korg X5DR, and a Kurzweil PC2R going right now. I figure if I add just one more module to the top of my Yamaha DX-5, the audience will only be able to see my forehead!

Let me know your recommendations soon.

I want this module for this weekend's gig!

Use the search function ("hammond clones" or so), read the resulting threads and most importantly: listen/compare in music stores...

Roughly based on HC and KC Forums, it seemed to me that the Nord Electro "wins" in this respect (www.clavia.se). So - considering you wanted a rack module - the Nord Electro Rack is recommended. I never thoroughly A/B'd a NE Rack with other stuff (like a Roland VK-8M), but I own a NE Rack and it's a lovely thing altogether. I think the VK-8M would be OK as well (it seems to be a taste matter as well).

Good luck!

zonk--you do know about the PC2R's KB-3 mode, right?

technically,it's a clonewheel too.

i've never heard anybody rave about it but i've never heard anybody say it sucked either.

i'd be interested to hear what you thinhk of it.--i'm thinking about getting a PC2 myself, but there don't seem to be any KB-3 demos on Kurzweil's website...
