I've got an Alesis Nanopiano, Korg X5DR, and a Kurzweil PC2R going right now. I figure if I add just one more module to the top of my Yamaha DX-5, the audience will only be able to see my forehead! Roughly based on HC and KC Forums, it seemed to me that the Nord Electro "wins" in this respect (www.clavia.se). So - considering you wanted a rack module - the Nord Electro Rack is recommended. I never thoroughly A/B'd a NE Rack with other stuff (like a Roland VK-8M), but I own a NE Rack and it's a lovely thing altogether. Members Old Mikey Posted July 27, 2004 Members Share Posted July 27, 2004 zonk--you do know about the PC2R's KB-3 mode, right? technically,it's a clonewheel too. i've never heard anybody rave about it but i've never heard anybody say it sucked either. i'd be interested to hear what you thinhk of it.--i'm thinking about getting a PC2 myself, but there don't seem to be any KB-3 demos on Kurzweil's website...
