Members Industrial Strength
Cyanotic will be entering the studio the week of October 2nd to complete recording of guitars and vocals for "Transhuman" -- the full length debut featuring production by Jason Novak of Acumen Nation and DJ? Acucrack (soon to be openers for the 20th anniversary KMFDM tour beginning October 6th) -- which will see release in the late fall / early winter of this year. "Transhuman" offers 12 tracks of diverse electronic aggression that draws inspiration from a vast list of influences ranging from industrial rock, drum 'n' bass, power noise, electro, glitch, hip hop and many others to create a unique hybrid of harsh synths, pounding beats, pummeling guitars and brutal sonic experimentation. New songs from the forthcoming album -- in addition to complete reinventions of songs previously heard on the "Mutual Bonding Through Violation" E.P. can be heard live at the upcoming W-IDR Barking Tuna music festival in Kalamazoo, MI on October 9th.This will be the first Cyanotic show to feature our official live line-up that now includes Johnathan Burkholder of Cruciform Injection on drums. Expect new samplers featuring three songs from the forthcoming "Transhuman" album to be available at the Cyanotic merch table along with stickers and the scarce few remaining copies of the soon to be out-of-print "Mutual Bonding" E.P. Be sure to visit the main page for venue details and additional line-up info if you have interest in attending. We always enjoy hanging out with fans -- so send us an email if you plan to be in attendance and want to get together for a night of drunken debauchery afterwards. In other news -- Cyanotic has struck a partnership with Digital Brothel Recordings -- a brand new electronic / industrial label home to a great amount of quality artists such as The Aggression and VTG. Expect the release of "Transhuman" to be a co-release between Glitch Mode Recordings (Cyanotic's very own label) and Digital Brothel Records with distribution courtesy of Music Non Stop, ADSR Musicwerks, DSBP Records, NCC Records and many others. Sean Payne of Cyanotic is currently in the midst of assembling a Cyanotic street team. All members will receive CD samplers, stickers, flyers and more to distribute at local shows and underground music shops in your area. Please send an email with the heading title of "street team" to sean@cyanotic-online.com if you have interest in helping spread awareness of Cyanotic and all future releases from Glitch Mode Recordings. A maximum of 20 samplers and 10 stickers per package. More promotional materials can be sent depending on where you plan to distribute said materials. All packages for members of the Cyanotic street team will be sent in the first weeks of October -- just in time for the big tours like Skinny Puppy, Ministry, KMFDM, etc. (and I assure you the timing is no coincidence). Also of interest -- Cyanotic now has accounts at MySpace and LiveJournal -- so be sure to join our groups if you have an account at either place and would like official updates as well as previews of new tracks from the upcoming album. That about covers all the bases for now. A resounding "thank you" to all of the fans who have been so supportive in the year since the release of our debut E.P. -- from the isles of Ireland and the swamps of Louisiana to the suburbs of California and the streets of the United Kingdom. The dedication and support from all the fans has been the main source of inspiration in continuing to create and evolve.

Members Industrial Strength
Thanks alot for the kind words. Just so y'know -- the songs available on the website are actually just demo versions from our E.P. of songs that will be available as all new versions on the full length release with 100x superior production. You guys should sign up for the mailing list on ther main page of www.cyanotic-online.com if you have interest in recieving updates about future releases, tours, promotional offers, etc. Having the Acumen Nation crew help with production on a few songs was amongst one of our all time biggest honors as I have been fans of the Crack Nation styles since I was a 6ht grader. As for shows in Wisconsin -- we have been trying to hook up shows in that area for awhile now. Expect possibility of shows at The Warehouse in the area of the new year.
