Members mike65
Okay this is'nt even new its vey old (for me) but for the first time I decided to turn it from midi to audio and post it for fun. The good news is thats its only 80 seconds long. Think 70s film score and try not to think about the dreadful "one take" midi percussion! Its called Mikes Bad Cinematic Jazz and is here Mike. Members Allerian
The bass line. It's... back there somewhere. Okay, this makes me think of the classic 60's tv scenes where the "good girl" has an lsd trip or something in a back room. Picture lots of gel lights and slow tilted/zooming camera work. Members orangefunk
The brass is out of range but its good to see you doing something different I like the percussion and jazz drums... also the wurly is nice too I love those old films... like Get Carter, Pelham 123, etc.
Members orangefunk
actually you should think about using low strings or cello scrapes instead of the low brass...
Members air cut light
This track is why there's no substitute for real horns. But those drums actually sound cool, nice and loose, and I TOTALLY know what you're going for, and I think you should do whatever it takes to get some real horns there. Also, drench some guitar with reverb. Apply liberally.

Interesting idea, had'nt thought of strings at all, but I think I know the sound you're thinking about. I kind of like that brass even though its very hard to get a real timbre with synths. Mike.
