Members fiftywatt Posted January 31, 2005 Members Share Posted January 31, 2005 I would like to use Battery to "replace" a bad sounding kick drum track (.wav audio format). I am remixing some tunes in Sonar. Is it possible to route the kick drum track to a separate audio Buss and use that Buss to trigger a Battery kick drum cell? I have no idea if Battery responds to audio triggers in addtion to MIDI. Hope this makes sense.. I could easily do this with outboard hardware, but have never tried it within a DAW environment. Members Puta Posted January 31, 2005 Members Share Posted January 31, 2005 don't know if sonar has this feature, but cubase and i think logic do: you can extract the groove from audio files and make it into a midi file. then you can use that to trigger your own drums in battery.
