Members Mike Martin
I posted this up in the KSS Synth Demo thread yesterday. Thought I'd open it up to the rest of the group. ----- Since I didn't see any demos of this particular synth in the thread, so I though I'd post a few demos and let everyone guess. BTW - None of these demos use factory patches (all my own). Intro Steam Portal Wisper SyncRhythm Lead3 Enjoy. -------- Again, this synthesizer is not mentioned in the 4 pages of existing demos. Incorrect guesses so far - Emu Morpheus Roland V-synth Neuron It is NOT software of any kind Wavestation Z1
Members Mike51
Yamaha VL1?
Members Mike Martin
Sorry, its not VL-1. It only has 2 notes of polphony, the chords in some of the demos would not be possible. There is no multi-track audio recording in these examples.
Members Mike51
ah ok. I thought it was a multitracked VL-1.
Members Miket156
Is this a Vintage synth or an existing synth? Mike T.
Members jigg
First, a question: are the fx on-board or external to the intstument?
Members wes-ninja250
Nintendo Entertainment System? [running and ducking]
Members Mike Martin
Jigg - All sounds created in the instrument (no external processing), so everything you hear including FX comes from this synthesizer. Miket156 - Answering this could make it too easy. I would not call it vintage. This instrument is relatively easy to find today.

Members Mike Martin
The EX-5 is listed in the KSS Demo thread, so its not an EX-5.
Members radiospace
I don't see how anyone could read that whole thread and remember what synths weren't listed in it (it's huge!). But I will modify my guess to a Motif since I didn't see it in that thread (doesn't mean it's not there). A Motif ES, more specifically.
Members Napalm
Hey Mike, what's the prize? A brand new MO'ES Rack would be nice
Members Mike Martin
No prize, sorry. Just for fun and curiousity. Its not a Motif or Motif ES (rack).

Members Mike Martin
Urbanscallywag wins.....almost. Its a K2600. The reason I make the distinction is that all of those sounds with the exception of "STEAM" are made using Triple Mode, which is not available on the K2500.
