Members jcn37203
I have a couple of keyboards sitting on a desk, and they take up too much room. I'd like to find some kind of stand to put on the desk top so that one of the keybaords could be up above the other one. I found one on ebay, but I missed the auction, and I can't find any others anywhere. Any leads?
Members The Pro
Y'know - a printer or computer monitor stand from an office supply store might work here... just for thought...

Hmmm, I hadn't even thought of that. Definitely food for thought.

Thats perfect! It's also a whole lot more than I was hoping to spend, but it is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.
Members jcn37203
Wait, I'm not sure that will stand on its own on a table. It says that those are for adding on a second tier to a keyboard stand. Maybe I need to check them out in a store or something.
Members wes-ninja250
Those would be just as functional on a table top as a two-part dot-matrix printer stand ($5 if you can find one), sitting on a couple of bricks. The key to using either of those is that the top keyboard either needs to be longer than the bottom one, or sitting on a sheet of plywood (or MDF, etc). Actually, making a stand like that wouldn't be too tricky; cut two right angle triangles out of a sheet of wood, and attach them to a couple of lengths of two-by-four with some angle brackets. Maybe throw a hunk of 2x2 or 1x1 on the bottom 2x4 to keep the board from sliding downwards. A little bit o' black paint and it'll look awesome.
