Members CAPPS Posted February 18, 2005 Members Share Posted February 18, 2005 my only gripe with the sr 16 so far is that i cannot get it to transmit midi velocity data when playing a sequence. it works great as drum pads, and will send velocity data when you hit the pads harder/softer, but play that midi track and it's all one level. Members bobsonjazoe Posted February 18, 2005 Members Share Posted February 18, 2005 the zoom has no midi out the sr16 is basic bread and butter with more control over sound. the zoom is actually more musical somehow. i dont know why. i guess its the sequencer is easyer to use. the sr16 is just a little too dated.smack me if you want but. i would say a st224 is your best bet. at least you can change the sounds.
