Members skier4467
Can you use the knobs on the Micron to do midi and control soft-synths like Reason? While we're at it....Can a 61key Casio keyboard go midi into the micron so their are more notes to play with the Micron sounds?
Members pagan
Micron has MIDI In, MIDI Out and MIDI Thru ports. Answer is yes, and yes.
Members Allerian
I haven't had the time to quantify and document it, but there are some serious wierdnesses you'll encounter when using the micron as a controller.

Members SushiFugu
As far as I know there is only a single fault in the MIDI implementation of the ION firmware (Micron inherits this flaw), and that is that knobs will only transmit 0-100 or 14-114 CC data ranges, depending on the knob. Members GlassPrisoner
If it's anything like the ION, probably not. ION uses NPRN in lieu of CC #s, and like the previous poster said, the values are not always the standard 0-128. Also, it's not what it was designed for. Members mildbill
the micron's a great little synth, but i'd get a dedicated controller for softsynths, if you want to tweak stuff instead of just play it. it will work just fine if you just want to play softsynth thru midi.
