2004 American Ash Telecaster

2004 Fender American Ash Telecaster in two tone sunburst. This relatively unknown model is probably Fender's best tele short of the custom shop because of its smart blend of traditional and modern features. Don't see them used that often in the two-tone burst. Here are the things that set it above the American Standard:

 

Premium Ash body

Chrome Plated Brass Saddles (instead of stainless steel)

U Shaped neck (very similar the '52 reissue)

Custom vintage pickups (only available on this model)

Round string tree

 

This tele is in excellent condition. The only thing keeping it from being mint is a ding in the upper body near the arm rest. It is not under the arm when in playing position, and I barely even notice it since the rest of the guitar is in such mint shape. Zero fret wear. Medium weight...probably about 8 pounds. Comes with the hard case is included. It's scuffed but fully functional. All case candy is also included: chord, strap, polishing cloth, etc.
