I like the new gibson les pauls with emg's and black hardware. Kind od like the new guitar hero III xbox 360 controller! Anyone got anything like this! Members cadillacman Posted November 9, 2007 Members Share Posted November 9, 2007 If your good with projects ..I've got a 1978 SG in great condition , I bought it off a 60 + yr. old friend ..that went acoustic..but I have it as raw mahogany & ebony fret board , frets are killer , leveled & all redone , not replaced ..very good frets ..no ware ..the thing is you could make it any color you want , I was going to do a vintage cherry red 60's w/ nitroluse clear coats , but you could do black, see thru , killer grain ..or white & put black hardware on it ..I've got most the parts to it , but I'll never get to it , I've just had my 2nd boy 3 months ago & I've got a 2 yr old...& I bought a & re-iss SG w/ p-90s ..only 400 made the other day 37th week gibson guitar of the week.....so , I guess this is on hold for days ..or I'm just going to do someone up on it ..its a great guitar !..anyway let me know ...thanks Kevin Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
