Members opiante Posted December 18, 2007 Members Share Posted December 18, 2007 1995 Gibson Les Paul Standard in black. w/OHSC Excellent condition This guitar has been played very little, but has never been neglected. The result is a trully rare find. The guitar has all the standard featurs of the period. This is a mid-90's Les Paul, so the body is solid mahogany with a maple top (no pesky weight relief holes like in the recent ones).All electronics are original and have never been changed or altered in any way. The neck has a very nice rounded fat 50's profile. Right in the middle of the range for a 50's style Gibson. The guitar has medium weight (I'd estimate it around 8.5lb) and plays great. Even though I'm selling this guitar on behalf of a close friend, I've been maintaining it for him personally for most of its life. The guitar's tone and feel it is very similar to my Custom Shop Historic Les Pauls. Trully an excellent guitar! As I mentioned, the instrument is in great shape. Very clean. Only minor marks of aging. The back of the neck has slight indentations in the finish (as pretty much ALWAYS happens with Gibson finishes), but otherwise there is absolutely minimal wear on it.
