Members rlm297
I was checking that out earlier, actually..Kind of cool to see it on here too. Anyway, is the finish kind of sparkly like the J. Mascis Jazzmaster (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Artist-Series-J-Mascis-Jazzmaster-Electric-Guitar?sku=514653)?I kind of get that impression by some of those pictures. Members VikingAxe
We have one of those J Mascis guitars at my store...the finish resembles the Gibson, but not as "purple" and the sparkles are more subtle. Would be a nice addition to any collection.
Members VikingAxe
Im contacting Gibson today about that CS certificate. It usually comes with Historic Reissues, im not sure about the Custom Shop.

Members VikingAxe
Gibson claims that its not a "Custom Shop Historic" or "Reissue" so there never was a Custom Shop certificate. Its got a 6 digit serial number, though, which designates it as a Custom Shop.
