Members MorgMetal666
TRADED!!!Hello, as the title says. I'm looking to trade my pair for an EMG 81/81 pair, 81/85, or Seymour Duncan Blackouts. I have them in my RR1, but I'm more of an active pup guy. I bought these new and they aren't very old and are currently in my guitar. I'm ready to pull them out and trade if someone can give a good offer. I'm not interested in any other trades or selling. thanks

Members MorgMetal666
There's a guitar world video on these pickups that isn't too bad. do a search on youtube. these are hot passives and i can add cash to get emg's.

Members dainbramage0
wasnt the whole point of the D activator's to simulate active pups without the batteries? I'm curious what you feel they lack - I have an 81/85 I might be willing to trade..
Members MorgMetal666
I don't think they particularly lack anything. I have an ltd fx-400 with emg 81/60 and with my randall rm100kh they give me the Metallica-type that i really really like. It's not a matter of not liking the dimarzios, i just prefer the emg's for my tone. they do simulate actives pretty well, but the specific emg sound is what I'm after.
