Members skier4467
I'm thinking of getting an O2 midi synth. It comes with Reason Adapted Express. What are the limitations /differences between this and Reason Adapted for Pro Tools or the complete edition???
Members piano39
The copy of Reason Adapted that I got with my Delta 44 soundcard is OK. Has lots of limitations, though- you are stuck with the sounds that come with it. You can edit and save sounds, but you can't import other REX files, etc. You can not load Refills into it. Frankly, I wanted to buy the full copy of Reason until I got this edition of Reason Adapted. There is WAY too much mouse handling to get anything done. And the way that you have to drag patch cords around to patch in effects, etc is cute but is very clumsy. Tracktion, Sonar, etc are way better for this sort of thing. However, my edition works as a Rewire client, so I use it in Sonar.I think that the synth (can't remember the name) sounds great.
