It has been extremely well taken care of and the gold finish looks amazing even after 13 years. The neck plays great with no problems. It is very comfortable with plenty of fret life. The guitar has a nice airy tonal characteristic. Overall an awesome sounding guitar that revals and exceeds many US strats. In the bridge position is a seymour duncan hot rail. The person who wired it did it so position two is out of phase. If the out of phase isn't your thing, the fix is easy as just one wire needs to be switched. The other two pickups are original G&L single coils. This guitar also has the G&L signature tone control system...I believe it's called PTB, where one knob controls the treble and the other bass.
