So rare that it is not listed as even being available, although this is not the first that I have seen in my lifetime in this color. All information I have found shows it came in IC50BK (black) and IC50RB (Royal Blue). I have heard mention of a rare olive color Iceman in existence, but to me, this is definitely silver or metallic gray in color. It is in players condition as it does have it's usual bumps around the edges. However, it is completely original & unaltered. The case is a newer issue Iceman case by TKL, a very quality case indeed. Has original Sure-Grip knobs, tuners, strap buttons, pickups are numbered 200515 on bottom (see pic). Serial # is C804372. I'm asking $550 shipped & PP's or Best Offer. The only things I'd really entertain in trade are vintage LP's ... Not sure about rarity as I have seen a few of the gunmetal grey ones over the years Hi Northwinds, I too have seen a FEW, meaning this is the third I have seen in my lifetime.When I was younger I had a 1981 in black and a 1982 Iceman II in blue.Fun guitars for sure! I've done a lot of investigating and nowhere can I find a model designation that shows this color as being available. Anyways, I think my price is fair (and negotiable) as I watched a '81 with no case go for $450 + $40 shipping, a blue '81 go for $650 (pretty clean example), and currently a posting for a beat up black model with a buy it now of $450 + shipping.
