TRADED!!!!!I got this in a trade a little less than a yr ago. I put it up for sale, then realized I really liked it for the "rockin country" stuff (Brooks & Dunn, Jason Aldean, etc etc) my band does, so it got used for about 1/2 the night for about a month or 2. However for the past 5 months, it's been nothing but a backup.

So now, I either want another Tele as a backup or possibly an LP-type. So this one needs to go.

The good:

If you like slimmer necks, you will love this. It's not the wide-thin shredder neck of an Ibanez, but still thin enough to zip around on. The action on it is low enough to play fast stuff, yet high enough that I can grab a slide & not fret out anywhere.

The Steinberger 40:1 gearless tuners are simply fantastic. As good as the Sperzels I had on a Strat.

The pickups were the big surprise. When I got the guitar, I had every intention of replacing the p'ups, most probably with P90's. However, the tone of these Epi pickups are great. I never messed with a good thing.

It's a Firebird. If you've never played one onstage, you won't believe what a head-turner it is. That bachelorette party out on the dance floor won't care whether it's a Gibson or an Epi. But they will notice the "cool-looking red guitar".

The case is as good as any case I've ever had for any guitar.

The bad:

It has a few dings, none that affect playability in any way, and that are all visible in the pics in the link below.

It says Epiphone on the headstock, which will automatically get a worse rap than this guitar deserves. I'm not gonna sit here & try to make anyone believe it's every bit as good as a Gibson, but this guitar was $400 brand new. It's a much better guitar than a lot of $400 guitars are.

Thanks for looking/reading. Damn I'm ready for summer.

Edit: MF has this guitar brand new for $449 w/out a case. The case brand new runs about $160.
