The doubled GBE strings give that haunting, doubled tone up high like a 12-string. Sounds amazing for solos. While the single EAD strings keep their heaviness. Best of both worlds. Cherry burst color. About 10.5 lbs and sounds it. Similar sounding to an old Black Beauty Gibson Les Paul. Solid mahogony body and mahogony cap. This is the most rock solid guitar I have ever seen. Im pretty sure you could throw it through a brick wall. The neck is a very full C. Near new condition, few minor pick scratches. This one is a copy of the one made for Matt Pike(High on Fire, Sleep), minus the inlays and maple cap. IMHO the color on this one is a lot more classic and raw looking than the shiny Silverburst ones made for Mastodon. The pickups are First Act's custom DuoMags which are a very wide-range frequency pickup and high output. They pick up a lot more lower mids and highs than your average pickup. Just all out hard rock sound. Local pickup around Chicago would be fantastic.
