Members The Pro
Not sure what the point to the question (or the answers so far) is. I assume you are already playing some tunes so what are they - just to give us an indication of your style? Contemporary or standards? Jazz or pop? Broadway or radio hits? Members Sleepin' Deeper
"Me so horny" and "Hits from the bong" always seem to go down a real treat at the local Hilton jazz bar!
Members keyman_sam
I've recently immigrated to U.S., so, i need to listen to some songs to get to play in gigs. The stuff i've liked : Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, some yanni and some songs off the radio like "If I aint got you" by alicia keys, "100 years" by 5 fighting. Members Miket156
Playing standards and modern standards usually works in a Hilton or any upper crush lounge. A few examples: My Way New York, New York I left my heart in San Francisco (these days, you'll leave your wallet too) Beyond the Sea Unforgetable Strangers in the night Mack the Knife My Funny Valentine Misty Most anything from the GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK. Some standard Show Tunes too. You can play more modern sounding rendtions of Show Tunes like the Beatles "'Til there was you". The orginal version from the show was a bit different than the way the Beatles did that tune. Mike T.
