Hm. I don't have a guitar to put those EMGs in, but I'll probably take them this friday anyway :D

 

 

Will give me a full set for a strat plus a full set for an HH guitar. :D:D

 

 

Also, I've never used a D-tuna, but I assume since they're designed for E -> Drop D, they probably won't work for D -> Drop C because of the tension differences, right?

if you set it up correctly you will not have any problem in any tuning. remember that the strings have to be completely stretched. the tension points in them, like in the saddle and the nut, must be lubricated to prevent friction (a drop of 3 in 1 in those parts do the trick). also it helps if you have a tremol-no or trem setter installed
