Members ExplodingBoy
My friend is giving me this really cool 80 watt powered subwoofer with RCA connectors on it. Would I be able to get a converter of some sort and run a line out of my KBR3D into the sub? That would just be wicked cool to have that added bass for booming synth bass patches and huge pads. I'm not sure if the KBR even has a line out though.... actually, nevermind I think it does. Wonder how that will sound. Anyone tried such a thing before? Members Allerian
I use a sub as part of my monitor/practice setup. It's way cool. You'll find keyboard joy all over again. The downside is that then you'll hate how your setup sounds without it.
Members Fear My Potato
Yeah subs are standard at gigs You'll probably need an amp for the sub, as well as a decent crossover, but besides that it's ready to go. Subs kick ass.

Members ExplodingBoy
Here's a picture of the sub. It's on the right. SWEEET!!!! He GAVE that to me for free. Plus all 4 speakers as well!! All he needed was the receiver. Crazy huh?
Members hyperstationjr
Are you sure you didn't have a gun in your hand when he "gave it to you"?! damn that's sweet... Those speakers look to be worth more than the receiver though...
Members ExplodingBoy
LOL. Yeah, he already had really nice speakers but liked that receiver for some reason and it only came with the whole set. It's like a $400 set of equipment! I'm seriously drooling just thinking about how powerful that first note will sound when I have my true stereo KBR3D hooked up with that sub and hit some super bass bomb on the FS1r or EX7.
