Members Londonbus
Looking to sell my flawless 1988 Guild X160 Savoy in amberburst finish (also briefly referred to as "flamed maple burst"). According to the Gruen book, Guild started making the X160 Savoy (Not the same guitar as the X160 "Rockabilly" made in the 90's) in 1989, but they made 5 "pre-production" models in 1988 with serial numbers HJ000001 to HJ000005. This is one of those 5, serial number HJ000004. Made in Westerly, Rhode Island. Zero fret wear, playing marks or issues. Original HSC, which it has spent the majority of it's life sitting in. Build construction is superb.... If the only hollowbody you've seen have been ones like Ibanez Artcores at Guitar Center, this is a FAR different level of quality. Guitar has some weight to it... Not like a 10lb Les Paul, but you pick it up and it is solid as a rock. Not some cheapo you feel you could punch a hole through. I've worked for a couple of the area's bigger guitar shops and I have done several higher end guitar trades and sales on here, offsetguitars and gretschpages... Never had a problem and have a ton of references if needed. PRICE DROPPED TO $1800 PLUS SHIPPING Tons of pics at my flickr page... http://www.flickr.com/photos/21633690%40N06/
