Members seafoamer
Buyin' a house, so it's all for sale. Like surfin', this ones for "locals only" 1957 ES-225TDN Beautiful, I just love her except she really could use a refret. The bridge is down all the way & I still would like my action a little lower. A fretjob with taller frets would most likely solve that. $3700 w aftermarket case (case pictured came w/ the '59 below) Pix: http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b176/remaofaes/1957%20Gibson%20ES225TDN/ 1959 ES-225TD I bought this one on ebay for over 4K. It showed up with much too high action even w/ the bridge all the way down. The seller gave me a $500 refund and I was going to keep it and set it up with a lower regular style bridge instead of the trapeze bridge, but I never got around to doing it. Other than the action issue the gtr is really really clean, though I think it could use a fretdressing or refret too. $3500 Pix: http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b176/remaofaes/1959%20ES225TD/ 1958 ES-225T $2600 This one I may keep IDK, but it could also use a fretdress or refret. The neck seems like it's been shaved down to a thinner profile, the side binding was cheaply replaced and most of the parts are aftermarket except the Bigsby & it did have 50's p-90s that one of them was fried, so I took them out and bought replacements that I never reinstalled. I actually have the replacements on TGP for sale. Couldn't find any other pictures on my 'puter but here's me playing her a few years ago: http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b176/remaofaes/DSCN0366.jpg
